A Brief Introduction to Our Publications

	Science Fiction World Starting publication in 1979, the monthly of Science Fiction World has a history of more than twenty years. With a circulation of up to 500,000 copies, SFW is the most widely circulated science fiction journal in the world. It has been awarded “The Best Periodical of World Science Fiction Association” and was selected in “China’s Top 100 Key Social and Scientific Periodicals”. SFW mainly publishes science fictions, and the Galaxy Prize for Solicit Articles established by it is the highest prize representing China’s overall level of science fictions. All of China’s well-known science fiction writers publish the best science fictions of China on SFW.
	Science Fiction World-The Translations: Starting publication in 1998, Science Fiction World-The Translations is a large-scale bimonthly specialized in the best science fiction works abroad. Every issue of this journal consists of at least one novel, one nouvelle and some carefully-chosen short stories. Up to the present, we have published a lot of masterpieces by world-famous SF masters, including Alfred Bester, Arthur Clarke, Isaac Asimov, Vernor Vinge and Robert Sawyer etc. Science Fiction World-The Translations has become the window for Chinese readers to contact science fiction masterpieces all over the world.
	Pure Fantasy: Starting publication in 2005, Pure Fantasy is China 's first large-scale bimonthly publishing foreign fantasy works. Pure Fantasy has a big volume of 160 pages and every issue publishes an excellent foreign fantasy novel. In addition, this journel also provides colorful fantasy nouvelles and short stories for our readers. With the guideline of Taking in Everything, Pure Fantasy includes necromancers, castles, space-crossing history, supermen living in the modern society, as well as many other rare and eccentric works that can not be classified in any existing categories. The only common feature of the works appearing in this periodical is Fantasy.
	Science Fiction Comic: From 2005 on, Science Fiction Comic will solely introduce all the works of Mr. Osamu Tezuka, the most famous Japanese cartoon master, with Mr. Kimura as the general advisor, who is also the principal of Japanese Cartoon School, the highest institution in Japan. In the meantime, SFC invests funds to build the biggest original cartoon-producing base of China .
	Fantasy World: Starting publication at the end of 2003, Fantasy World has been well appraised by a lot of Chinese fantasy writers and readers and regarded as a periodical representing the highest level of China 's original fantasy. Fantasy World mainly publishes China 's original fantasy works. More than ten China's top-ranking fantasy writers have signed contracts with this journal. With the managing idea of “Making the Best”, we have always been doing our best to found the No.1 brand of China 's fantasy periodical.
